My name is Alessandro Dri, and I am a drummer, musician, and drum teacher. I was born in the province of Udine in 1979, and I have spent over twenty years teaching at various music schools in my region. My training began at the Dante Agostini School, but I further developed my educational path with various renowned teachers and drummers, including Andrea Fontana, Giorgio di Tullio, Ricky Roma, Mauro Gherardi, and Iarin Munari. I have also participated in educational events where I had the opportunity to learn from internationally acclaimed drummers such as Benny Greb, Chris Coleman, Jojo Mayer, Dave Elitch, and others. My involvement in the music field extends beyond teaching; I am actively engaged in live performances and studio recordings. I have my own personal space where I can record my instrument and experiment, often collaborating remotely, including with foreign authors. In addition to teaching and live performances, I enjoy writing some musical ideas; I do not consider myself a composer by training, but it is certainly something I am very passionate about. I have created drum loops and instrumental tracks that have been published on various digital platforms. I actively participate in writing soundtracks for podcasts, particularly for "Vittime di Mafia," a video podcast with high civic content. Furthermore, I am the author of an educational drum method (video), available on the on-demand teaching platform Music Home Lab (musichomelab.it).
